Community event with Met, LFB, LAS and bike marking : Sat 25 Oct 12:00

Community Engagement Event 

Clapham’s Safer Neighbourhood Teams would like to invite you to come down and join in with our community event taking place Saturday 25th October 2025 between 1200-1500 hours on the Common by Holy Trinity Church.

This is an opportunity to come and say hello, speak with the local teams about any issues you may be facing on your ward and meet with fellow emergency services/units. This will have a focus on Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG), Halloween and Firework safety advice. 

We are also hoping for fellow Emergency Services to attend such as London Ambulance Service (LAS) and London Fire Brigade (LFB). Various other units within the Metropolitan Police have been approached to attend such as the Territorial Support Group (TSG), Mounted/Dog units and the Met’s historic vehicle fleet. (Their attendance is resource permitting, as they may be required elsewhere around London for major or spontaneous events)

Handouts will be available such as children’s interactive colouring activities, leaflets on safety prevention (VAWG/Street safety) and advice on how to stay safe in London.
