Dear Parents and Residents,
As Freshers week begins, we know its an exciting time for new students- full of opportunities to meet people, explore new freedom and make unforgettable experiences.
However, we also want to take this opportunity to raise awareness about spiking that happens across the country within our nightlife.
Everyone should feel safe to enjoy themselves without worrying about being spiked. However, there are steps you can take to help reduce the risk of spiking, whilst keeping yourself and others safe.
Unattended Alcohol is the most common way to spike drinks, as there maybe NO change in the taste or appearance of your drink. But, if you spot any of the following signs, it could mean your drink has been tampered with:
If you think you or your friends drink has been spiked, its important to tell someone as soon as you can !
