Dear Residents, 

On 24/09/2025,morning (07:00–11:00) from the Town Centre Team, STT, Street Duties, and Longbridge, Eastbury & Gascoigne SNT, together with LBBD Enforcement, carried out Operation Cubo at the junction of Ripple Road and Harrow Road."

Key results:

·  Over 100 vehicles stopped for insurance and PNC checks (Town Centre & SNT teams)

·  STT: 8 vehicles stopped — 4 verbal warnings, 3 vehicles towed, 1 arrest for failing to appear (drink-driving). 

·  SNT: 49 stops; 1stop-and-searches (1 community resolution for cannabis)

·  Town Centre team: 49 stops

·  Street Duties: 15 stops — 2 uninsured vehicles seized/towed, 2 seatbelt tickets issued.

·  LBBD Enforcement: 15+ non-resident parking tickets; 7+ vehicles seized/towed; 1 vehicle seized & charged for false DVLA paperwork.

This joint operation removed uninsured and unsafe vehicles, disrupted criminal activity and helped keep our roads safer for everyone. Thank you to our local residents for their continued support — we’ll keep working with the community to make Longbridge, Eastbury and the surrounding area safer.
