Scartho 'Drop-In' : Wed 24th September 2025

Dear Resident

Today, PCSO Tiny and I had the pleasure of meeting numerous local residents at SCARTHO LIBRARY “Drop In” which was rearranged to earlier this afternoon. 

A wonderful function was being held in order to raise funds for the library.  Music was provided by the wonderful John Hampshire who was singing songs from the 50's and 60's.  In attendance were residents and care workers from The Meadows Care Home who were swaying and tapping along.  

During the “Drop in” we had numerous members of the community attend to discuss concerns in relation to the following issues:-

Electric scooters

Cyclists

Nuisance motorbikes

Abandoned vehicles

Road safety issues 

I wish to thank those residents for attending and raising their concerns.  We can only act when we are aware of an issue, due to this I always actively encourage residents that have concerns to discuss them with their local neighbourhood officers.  

It may be that you think an issue is low priority or not too serious, however if it is having an impact on yourself or the local community then we want to know about it.
