Local Priorities Nuisance Motorbikes / E-Bikes / E-Scooters Message |
||
I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Nuisance Motorbikes / E-Bikes / E-Scooters, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. We have recently had a number of reports regarding off road motorbikes being driven around the Aycliffe Drive and Maltby Square area of Buckshaw Village. Anti social off road bike nuisnace has been raised as one of the main priorities to come out of our recent In the Know surveys and we will be looking to take positive action against anyone found to be riding these off road/electric motorbikes. If caught, this will almost certainly result in the bikes being seized and destroyed and consideration for any traffic offences identified. If anyone has any information regarding the identity of the people responsible, then please get in touch by either ringing 101 or email myself 1588@lancashire.police.uk . We will be stepping up our patrols in the area to try and identify the suspects. Enquiries are on going and two bike registrations have already been identified. #yousaidwedid Thank you PC Ian Fitzsimmons Op. Centurion is Lancashire Constabulary’s county-wide response to anti-social behaviour, supported by Police and Crime Commissioner, Clive Grunshaw.
