Partial Closure Order on premises in SW10

Safer Neighbourhood Officers attended Westminster Magistrates Court this morning to apply for a Closure Order on a premises in the SW10 area linked with continuous Anti-Social Behaviour.

A Partial Closure Order was granted. This means-

A person who without reasonable excuse remains on or enters premises in contravention of a Closure Order commits an offence under section 86 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, liable on summary conviction to imprisonment not exceeding 51 weeks and/or unlimited fine.

We work constantly with RBKC and Housing Associations to keep residents safe from other residents who constantly cause ASB.

We continue to encourage residents to report any ASB regarding particular addresses and we will build intelligence to move forward with Closure Orders.
