Appeal after damage to parked car

Police are appealing for information following a report of a vehicle been damaged in Tadcaster.

The owner of a dark blue DACIA noticed damage to their vehicle on the 23rd of September whilst it had been parked on Westfield Crescent. 

The owner found scratches on the boot of their car, which was parked legally on a public road, causing significant damage. 

We are asking residents in the area to check their CCTV or ring door footage, and to let us know if they noticed anything suspicious.
