Safeguarding Visits and Joint Partnership Operations carried out in Stourport

Today, your local team have completed a series of safeguarding visits to vulnerable adults at risk of financial scams. These visits are part of an ongoing commitment to protect the most at-risk members of our community from the growing threat of fraud and financial exploitation.

During these visits, officers provided tailored advice and support to help residents recognise and avoid common scams, including fraudulent phone calls, emails, and doorstep crime. The initiative aims to empower vulnerable adults with the knowledge and resources needed to protect themselves and report suspicious activity.

In addition, the team have conducted targeted joint visits to local businesses in Stourport. These multi agency visits bring together police, fire, and trading standards officers to ensure that businesses are operating safely and legally. By combining resources and sharing intelligence, the partnership can identify and address issues such as fire safety breaches, the sale of illegal tobacco and vapes, and other forms of non-compliance that put the public at risk.

We have also conducted foot and mobile patrols around the Walshes estate and Stourport town centre. We rely on members of the community to share information with us to help us better target our patrols and activity.
