On a positive note. I visited the youth centre at Hythe Bay Primary School and met with the youth worker (Jon). The facilities here are very good and developing into a splendid centre for children of all abilities to develop. Opportunities include, arts and craft, woodwork, gaming, DJ mixing, table, tennis, pool football and much more. The centre has also recently acquired an allotment which will develop additional skills in horticultural, practical and organisational. I am hopeful that the centre will support parents to keep children engaged and develop good social skills. |
