Motor Vehicles current being taken

Good afternoon from your local Coldhurst and Westwood Policing Team.

We're current experiencing a massive increase of car crime right across the Oldham borough. The Top 3 vehcles being targetted at the moment are Toyota C-HR's , Nissan Jukes and Range Rovers. The cars are being stolen on a regular basis, so we ask members of the public to ensure your car is locked, preferably has a steering lock on it, or some extra security device to stop it being taken in the first place. Trackers do help but that won't stop the initial theft.

Workmans Vans are being targetting for their expensive tools, but in most cases the van isn't taken, however the offenders cause alot of damage to the victims vehicle; so same again, please ensure alarms are on and the vehicle is locked. Vans parked up on large car parks tend to be most at risk, so please be more vidulant when paking at large stores and the Hospital areas.

Please see some of the Picture attached, and if you own a similar type of car please take extra precausions as they're apparrently don't need your keys to access and take the vehicle.
