**Weekly Update on Bardon Beat Priorities**
Dear Community Members,
We are pleased to provide you with our weekly update regarding the priorities of the Bardon Beat team.
1. **Anti-Social Behaviour in the Greenhill and Agarnook Areas:** Throughout the week, we conducted several high-visibility patrols in these areas to maintain a strong presence. During our patrols, we carried out a number of enquiries and identified a group linked to multiple reports of anti-social behaviour. We are currently taking appropriate action to address the situation involving the identified individuals.
2. **Off-Road Bikes in Thringston, Whitwick, Greenhill, and Agarnook:** Our team conducted numerous high-visibility patrols, which led to the sighting of a black pit bike in the vicinity. Subsequently, two Section 59 notices were issued to riders encountered on Warren Lane, Whitwick. We are continuing our enquiries to determine the ownership of the black pit bike so that retrospective action can be implemented.
3. **Road Safety - Parking and Speeding:** In response to reports of potentially hazardous parking near a junction, we successfully identified the vehicle's owner and requested the relocation of their vehicle to a safer area. Additionally, we attended a meeting with the Ellistown Parish Council, where parking around junctions was identified as a significant area of concern that will require further examination.
We appreciate your ongoing support within the community as we work to enhance safety and well-being in our neighborhoods.
Kind regards, The Bardon Beat Team
