After the summer break the Older Drivers Forum return to provide advice on how to adjust our driving, vehicle preparedness and journey planning to mitigate the seasonal challenges of driving in autumn.

There will also be an update on what is known about Government’s Road Safety Strategy that is due to be published in the autumn. 

Road Safety GB report that compulsory eye tests for drivers over 70 

“…is one of the measures under consideration.”

Our guest presenter is James Baker, Vice-chair of Gloucestershire Advanced Motorists who will be revealing a new offer regarding 

advanced driving courses for mature drivers.
