Dog Control

Police have received a report of a dog reported to have acted in an aggressive manner towards a walker upon Wotton Hill . It is believed that the dog was not on a leash and approached a lone female and began to growl ,and acted in a protective manner. This is not the first time this encounter has occurred with the same dog.

Unfortunately the identity of the male walker and dog are unknown but the dog is described as a medium height , beige short haired looking like a hunting dog.

Please can we remind dog owners and walkers that they must ensure that dogs are under control in public places.
