Weekly Crime Prevention - Theft from ATMs

Good Morning, Hounslow Central Residents, 

We trust you are well & enjoying your weekend. This weeks weekly crime prevention topic is Theft from person - ATMs. This kind of theft is common around a busy high street where suspects will watch you withdraw cash from the ATM and find a way to steal the cash from you either by pickpocket or distraction theft. 

Crime prevention:

1= When you can, go inside the bank to withdraw your cash. 

2= If you want to count the cash, do this inside then put it straight into your bag & zip it up. Keep the bag visible at all times.

3= Go straight home with your cash. Always look to withdraw cash at the end of your trip to the area.
