Officers tackling Vehicle-enabled crime in South Acton

Your local ward team have been out again, this time tackling vehicle enabled crime in the South Acton Estate. 

Following a moped failing to stop for officers on 19/09 and contravening a no-entry sign, we conducted patrols around Avenue Road. We searched around Beaumaris, Corfe and Harlech Towers and found three males. They were subsequently detained and searched under S.23 MDA. The search led to officers finding keys to the same bike that that had made off the day previously. This bike was then seized by officers under S.59 ASB Act.
