Crimes reported this week

Hello all,

An update on what has been happening on our ward this week.

There have been 7 reports of shoplifting and 1 attempted shoplifting. All have taken place on George St and The Quadrant. Investigations are ongoing.

There has been 1 reported Theft from a motor vehicle. The incident took place by the riverside where an unknown suspect has stolen a VRM plate from a motorcycle. 

There has been 1 reported Theft of a motor vehicle. The vehicle was stolen from Old Deer Car Park.

There has been 1 reported incident of Fraud where a male suspects has turned up to the victims house on Queens road and stated that he was from the council and that he needed to change their locks. The suspect then returned to the victims house another day to ask for payment. The suspect has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.
