Local Priorities Anti Social Behaviour Update

Please review the following update regarding Anti Social Behaviour which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

 

Hello Residents of LB&WB I wanted to give you all an update on Anti social behaviour within the area. The team have been working very hard to deal with individuals that take part in Anti Social Behaviour around the ward. In the last two months 19 Community protection notices & 18 Community protection warnings that have been given. As a result of this we have seen a decrease in ASB especially drug use & arrests have been made due to people on CPN's not following conditions such as, not to be within the ward boundary or not to have any drug paraphernalia.

Your Local policing team will continue to target hotspot areas for patrols & deal with the drug usage we have.

I strongly advise if you do have any evidence of any drug usage/ dealing to send over to us, if you do try to obtain evidence of this activity never put yourself in a position of danger. I also advise you to urge local residents/ friends to sign up for Met Engage to stay posted with what we are doing & so you all could have an easy way to contact us about any local concerns.

There are 13 different types of antisocial behaviour that we may be able to help with, including abandoned vehicles, littering or drugs paraphernalia and street drinking.
