South Acton SNT: responding to your concerns

Good morning,

Over the past weeks we have received a concerning uptick in reports of drug users congregating in Heathfield Nature Gardens and Mill Hill Gardens at all hours of the day. This is particularly alarming given the close proximity to local schools.

Yesterday, Officers conducted patrols around school finish time and discovered a group congregating in the bushes. They have been moved on from the area. We will continue to conduct patrols in these locations and will exercise our ASB powers if this continues.

We have also conducted patrols in the Acton Gardens Estate, stopping two vehicles that were suspected to be involved in drug supply. In total 4 males were searched and a quantity of Class B drugs were seized.

Finally, we also came across a vehicle that had been reported stolen and re-united it with its rightful owner!

Officers would not be aware of these issues in the community without the help of you, the local residents, reporting it to us. Please continue to report any ongoing ASB via 101, or by submitting an anonymous report on Crimestoppers.
