Vehicle Crime

There has been a report of vehicle interference in your area. 

On Saturday 20th of September 2025 at approx  05:30 am  a male has been seen trying car door handles in the Whiteshill area of Stroud . 

While we work to deal with the incidents here is some crime prevention advice to keep your vehicle safe . The advice comes after number of thefts from from vehicles in the Stroud area in the last week. 

Police are reminding residents in Stroud to lock their vehicles and take any personal belongings from the vehicle . Including bags, mobile phones , laptops, wallets and purses. Please don't leave anything on show in your car that could be tempting to thieves like loose change, bank cars, dash cams & sunglasses.

Thieves are opportunists who are looking for valuables on display in your vehicle and often try door handles to see if they have been left unlocked .
