Bail Breach and No-Show Bagged as Gardens Stay Serene

The Piccadilly Gardens Neighbourhood Policing Team have concluded tonight’s shift with two arrests made during the latter part of their patrols. One individual was detained for breaching court bail, while another was arrested for failing to appear at court.

Officers reported that the gardens remained relatively empty throughout the evening, with little disturbance or disorder to contend with.

Sergeant Jon Wyatt of the Piccadilly Gardens Neighbourhood Policing Team, said:

“I want to thank all of my officers for their hard work tonight. We’ve made a total of seven important arrests despite being low staffed, dealt with any kerfuffle swiftly, and the gardens have remained calm. Long may the quiet version of Piccadilly Gardens continue.”

The team will continue their proactive presence in the city centre when they return to duty tomorrow, ensuring safety and reassurance for those who live, work and visit the area.
