Pleck Neighbourhood Team Updates |
||
Dear Residents,
Welcome to the Pleck Neighbourhood Team regular updates.
We wanted to share with you some of the varied work, Neighbourhood Officers are involved in your area.
One important area of work is helping to find missing people. There are many reasons why people go missing and depending on their own circumstances, can be low, medium or high risk. As soon as a person is reported missing and assessments made, an announcement is made, with details including descriptions, for officers to keep observations for that persons. If the missing person is high risk, dedicated officers are assigned to look for that person. Pleck officers were recently involved in such an incident, where a person had gone missing in the Pleck area. After some good work, persistence and help from the public, the missing person was found safe and well in the Bloxwich area.
Other work officers have been involved with, is dealing with suspected drink drivers. Sometimes officers will come across drink drivers and sometimes drink drivers are reported to us. The important thing is that the drink drivers are taken off the road.
Pleck officers have in the past week, caught a suspect involved in a robbery. The offender was apprehended and taken into custody.
One final note, is to remind residents that no matter what issue you may have, there are ways of getting help and reporting issues. If you are worried about reporting something and want to remain anonymous, you can by contacting Crime Stoppers. 0800 555 111 or click this link.
