Ward Walk: 18th September 2025 |
||
Dear Resident,
On Thursday 18th September 2025, a Ward Walk was conducted with partners and stakeholders. During our Ward Walk we noticed that there was a lot of fly tipping present within residential areas.
This caused me some concern due to several reasons, namely:
There are several options available for agencies when dealing with fly tipping (like prosecution) and although this is an option, I would like us collectively to look at the prevention side.
There is a saying that prevention is better than cure and I am after your help.
Our partners/stakeholders and I are looking into the following and hoping that you would love to be a part of it, namely.
Once I have received the results from our partners and stakeholders in relation to our Ward Walk – I will share them with you.
If you see anyone who is fly tipping – you can report it on the following methods, namely: How to Report Fly-Tipping in Immingham Provide as many details as possible to the council, including: Never approach or confront individuals involved in fly-tipping, as this could put you at risk. We all take pride in our area as we live and work there and I am hopeful that you will help me to make our area better and safer place to live and work.
