Issues discussed at the Whittle PACT Meeting

Hello,

We just want to say thank you to everyone who came to the Whittle PACT meeting yesterday. It was nice to see so many new faces. 

We need to work together to make the area a nicer, safer place to live. And to do this we need information from yourselves as you are the eyes and ears of the village. We currently cover a huge area which now consists of Buckshaw & Whittle, Clayton East, Brindle & Hoghton and Clayton West & Cuerden so we have to spend time on all the areas.

Topics and issues raised were Drug dealing, Ebikes and ASB. 

We have a better chance of catching offenders if you contact us when it is happening. So ring in if you can. CCTV and photos would be a bonus but please do not put yourselves at risk obtaining them and do not put them on social media. They can be sent to me and Lauren via email.

If you see any drug dealing in the area then please alert us via 101, text or email. We need time, date, location and any vehicle vrms etc. We will be building a pattern of behaviour and input intelligence. We can alert other departments to assist which will include the Task Force officers, plain clothed intel officers and the drone team.
