After-school robbery patrols around Central Park (p) was today's commitment, with Rick and Lee covering more than a mile of the park (3.30 miles).
Along the 1.17-mile route, groups of Robert Clack students were spoken to about robberies in the park earlier in the year as well as the team's plan to focus more patrols at the end of the school day.
Tony Rawson Way, Fir Tree Walk, Home Gardens (4.14pm, p) and Grove Gardens in the Parkside beat were also checked on.
"Today I met two of the ward's youngest residents, both children of parents I first met when they were primary-aged children themselves. I've been here for that long, I've gone full circle and now the 'kids' are having kids."
