Community Drive Parking

Residents have complained to Police and to the Council regarding parking becoming an issue at the weekend on Community Drive due to match days at Norton Cricket Club. 

While I understand that people must park their car somewhere, I'm asking for those parking along Community Drive outside people's properties to take some consideration for those residents who may want to leave their home without being blocked in. 

We have had complaints regarding cars being parked too far on the pavement, which those residents in the bungalows who have mobility issues cannot leave their property due to how cars are being parked. 

Can we take some consideration in how you park and think about ambulance services and fire service who may need to access this road, as this is concerning that these services cannot get through. 

The parking will be monitored, and we are working with partner agencies to combat this issue.
