Court Outcome

Dear Queens Park and Harrow Road Residents, 

I thought I would share a positive outcome from a court case that local officers attended yesterday. In March, we assisted our emergency response colleagues apprehending a suspect who had assaulted 2 members of public with an offensive weapon. Our local intelligence and knowledge of the wards assisted locating this individual leading to an arrest and remanding in custody. 

The courts charged the suspect yesterday enforcing a maximum sentence for a number of charges resulting in a prison sentence for just over 5 years. Local officers also managed to get a restraining order to protect the victims to help keep them safe. This would not have happened if local policing teams had not been involved. 

This is a great result for the community, local and response policing.
