Partnership working - antisocial behaviour around Leicester Square and Chinatown

On Wednesday this week your Safer Neighbourhoods officers, alongside Westminster Council and My Local Bobby, patrolled Leicester Square and Chinatown on one of our regular ASB deployments. 

Welfare checks and referrals to support services were made to some of the street population and those in need. In addition, delivery riders were spoken to about riding in pedestrian zones and blocking entry/exit points. We know pedicabs are of concern to local residents and businesses - several were moved on during this employment and drivers spoken to about their conduct. 

We will keep you updated on our antisocial behaviour patrols, particularly our engagement and action on regular offenders, and we look forward to meeting some of you on our next deployment.
