Local Speed Survey

Dear Resident

Hereford Rural North SNT were out on the A438 in the area of Swainshill between 14:20 and 15:30 on Wednesday 17th September conducting a speed survey.

90 vehicles were checked with the mean average speed of 33.5mph. The road has a speed limit of 40mph.

The survey is in response to some concerns raised by residents within the area, regarding the perceived speed of some vehicles and in line with the local Policing Charter.

Speed surveys are conducted at various times and days, throughout your local area by the designated Safer Neighbourhood teams in conjunction with Parish Councils
