Theft of Motor Vehicle

Dear residents,

Recently we have seen a rise in thefts of key-less Nissan vehicles. 

If you are the owner of one then please ensure your keys are in kept in a Faraday bag/pouch to avoid them being comprised. 

Physical security such as steering locks and pedal locks are still the best line of defence and could be the difference between keeping your vehicle or becoming a victim of crime. 

Alternatively, if you have information but don’t feel comfortable speaking to police, you can speak to the independent charity Crimestoppers. It is 100% anonymous, they never ask your name, and they cannot trace your call or IP address. You can contact them online or by calling 0800 555 111.
