BIKE SAFETY AND SECURITY MARKING

Good morning

Over recent weeks we have again seen an increase in theft of pedal cycles from Town Centre, sadly this is a crime that seems to happen in spells and although we can do our best to combat this it is not always possible.

If you have a bike and are coming to town we have some new facilities for locking them up at Warrington bus Station on Horsemarket street and also the Cycle hub on Crown street (this does cost £1 but you do get access to a shower and wash facilities included).

We would suggest buying a strong lock such as a D-Lock as these are harder to get off as thieves have to use angle grinders to take them which are noisy and takes time.

We also have our bike register days, if your bike is not registered please come along to our next bike Register day and help us to help you

We will be outside Pure gym on Fennel street from 3pm until 6pm on Thursday 18th August feel free to pop down and get your bike security registered.
