Dear residents and local businesses,
Here is a roundup of what the Foleshill Neighbourhood team officers have been doing this week.
OUR Priorities
Our priorities are anti-social behaviour in Edgwick park- Officers have continued to patrol this area on a regular basis with targeted patrols.
We have been made aware of people sitting on a green space outside Falkner House on Stoney Stanton Road. Officers have interacted with individuals this week and have made them aware that Coventry has a city wide PSPO, public space protection order, of no drinking on the streets in Coventry. Officers are working in partnership with Coventry city and the local housing officers to combat the ASB and street drinking
IN OTHER NEWS
This week Foleshill officers visited the library to host there police story time and craft session. This was a chance for children and families to meet the police in a community setting. Officers read multiple stories to the children who then took part in some craft activities. After this we had a visit from PC Hooper and his van. Children enjoyed being handcuffed, dressing up and exploring the police van. This evet was well received by children and their families, officers will plan another one within the next few weeks so keep an eye for dates and times.
Officer this week took part in operation Galvanise this was in conjunction with our road policing unit and its aim was to tackle city wide vehicle crime.
Over the last week or so opportunist vehicle crime has slightly risen, can we remind all drivers when leaving you vehicle parked and unattended all valuables are taken off show and that the vehicle is properly secured.
