ASB -Fireworks

#Safe4Summer - Salford Neighbourhood Officers have been on patrol last night around Ordsall Park due to reports of ongoing issues with fireworks.  

Ordsall Neighbourhood Officers have stopped two juveniles who have been in possession of fireworks.

The Fireworks Regulations 2004 states that no person under the age of eighteen years shall possess an adult firework in a public place. You must be at least 18 years old to buy, carry, or use fireworks in the UK.

Under the Fireworks Regulations 2004, fireworks can only be sold to be public during specific seasonal periods.

Specific times you can buy fireworks:
Bonfire Night: From 15 October to 10 November. 
New Year: From 26 December to 31 December. 
Diwali: The day of Diwali and the three days immediately preceding it. 
Chinese New Year: The day of Chinese New Year and the three days immediately preceding it.

Please be advised to report any Anti-Social Behaviour issues regarding fireworks.
