Mental Health Awareness |
||
Yesterday, officers responded twice to reports of individuals in distress on Ouse Bridge in York. Thanks to the quick actions and compassion of members of the public, both people were brought to safety before police arrived and were able to provide further support.
We want to thank those who stepped in β your awareness and kindness made a real difference.
If you or someone you know is struggling, please remember that help is available. You do not need to face difficult feelings alone.
π In an emergency, always dial 999. π For non-emergency mental health support:
Local crisis services β Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust: 0800 0516 171 (24/7 support line)
Itβs okay to ask for help. Talking to someone can be the first step toward feeling better.
Thank you again to the members of the public who acted quickly and with compassion yesterday. Together, we can continue to look out for one another.
