School time parking

Dear Resident,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to acknowledge and address some of the concerns that have been raised to the school regarding parking and traffic around the school during drop-off and pick-up times. Both ourselves and Lammack Primary School understand that the congestion during these times can be frustrating, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to find a solution.

We are aware that the increased volume of cars and lack of parking has led to some tensions between residents and parents. Please know that we are taking this seriously and we request that in order to prevent any issues of conflict please allow ourselves and other agencies to handle this and do not take solving this issue into your own hands. 

We are actively working with the school and Mrs Duckworth in order to implement solutions to improve this situation, however please know that any issues regarding traffic do not fall into their remit. So I request any issues regarding the parking and road issues are directed at the highways agency within Blackburn and Darwen council. 

We appreciate your understanding and hope you have patience as we explore long term solutions to this ongoing issue.
