September is an important month for Democracy.

September 15 is the International Day of Democracy.

This is a United Nations recognised day emphasising the importance of establishing and maintaining democratic systems of government around the world.

September 15 is also the Independence Day of 5 Central American Republics.

The collective Latin American community has been recognised as the eighth largest collective foreign born community in London.
