CPN's issued for catapult use and ASB. |
||
Over the last two days, Beat Officers have issued two Community Protection Notices designed at targeting two unrelated individuals that have both been a cause of Anti-Social Behaviour in and around the Town Centre.
The first relates to a juvenile who has been known to Police over the last 6 months to be involved in incidents of ASB relating to catapults, criminal damage and nuisance bikes. His Community Protection Notice will be in effect for 6 months and includes an exclusion area of the Town Centre and conditions which prohibit his use/possession of catapults and associated items.
The second relates to a female that persistently frequents Kent towns begging for money on High Streets and causing a nuisance to passing members of the public. She has again been issued a Community Protection Notice with conditions which prohibits such behaviour, including the use of signage and open tins to collect money.
Any breaches of Community Protection Notices will result in the individuals arrest and a case being prepared for Court.
This is all part of the ongoing work the Community Safety Unit hope to deliver in order to tackle the various elements of ASB that effect both residents and businesses in the local areas. | ||
