Two charged in connection with robbery and theft

Two people have been charged in connection with a number of offences in the Stourport-on-Severn and Kidderminster areas.

Thomas Harris, aged 38 of York Street, Stourport-on-Severn has been charged with fourteen offences in connection with the below incidents:

7 thefts from shops spanning between April and September this year:

Spar, Stourport: 27 April

Asda Service Station, Stourport: 9 May

Tesco Express, Bewdley Hill, Kidderminster: 2 June.

ReGenerate, Kidderminster: 17 June

Tesco, Stourport: 9 August.

Mid Counties Co-Operative Store: 28 August and 5 September.

Assault at Spar on Lower, Lickhill Road, Stourport on 27 April

Robbery on Stourport High Street on 18 May.

Causing racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress at Morrison Daily, Worcester Road, Stourport on 11 June.

Possession of Class A cocaine on 18 June.

Intimidating a witness on 14 July.

Attempted theft from Select and Save on 11 August.

Robbery on York Street, Stourport on 7 September.

Natalie Wood, aged 45, also of York Street, Stourport-on-Severn has also been charged with robbery in connection with the incident on York Street, Stourport on 7 September. She is also charged with theft from ReGenerate in Kidderminster on 17 June.

Harris has been remanded in custody and is appearing at Kidderminster Magistrates today (11 September).

Wood has been bailed to appear at court at a later date.
