Attempted burglary, Grindleton

Good afternoon,

We would like to make you aware of a report of an attempted burglary on Ribble Avenue, Grindleton in the early hours of Wednesday 10th September 2025.

The suspects have attempted to prise open a residential garage but appear to have been disturbed and left the area.

Footage recovered from the area shows 4 suspects running down East View at approximately 03:50 am, a vehicle has been seen in the area and circulated to residents but has now been ruled out after enquiries.

Patrols have been tasked with patrolling the area overnight, myself and PCSO Kearns-Turner will be out on foot patrol this evening around the village, please come and have a chat if you have any concerns.
