East NPT Visit RAF Air cadets - Armthorpe

A few weeks ago East NPT officers were invited to the 1053 RAF Squadron Air Cadets in Armthorpe. 

This is a RAF sponsored youth organisation for children aged 12-18 who attend to learn life skills, discipline and gain qualifications.

Officers presented the role of a Police Officer explaining what we do and the various entry routes. We also carried out demonstrations of some of the equipment we use and allowed the cadets to have a good examination of our Police vehicles.

A Specialist Drone Officer was able to attend and provide the cadets with a demonstration of the Drone, and explain the circumstances in which we use it.

Overall it was a very enjoyable visit and we hope to repeat it next year.
