we received reports of children deliberately setting fires and igniting aerosol cans in Wheatfield Park Shifnal. This is not harmless fun, it’s reckless and illegal.

Aerosol cans can explode with force, causing life-changing injuries. Fires can spread rapidly, endangering lives and property. This behaviour will not be tolerated.

Officers will be identifying and speaking with those involved. We will also be working with schools and parents to ensure this message is heard loud and clear.

We urge parents and carers to speak with their children about the dangers of fire-setting and the importance of acting responsibly in public spaces.
