Local Priorities Update – Hemel Hempstead East |

Dear Resident
For those of you that have taken the time to complete our priority survey thank you as you have helped to form our Autumn Priorities that we will now work towards. However firstly a review of the Summer Priorities. #yousaidwedid
1. ASB - Swallowfields Addition patrols have taken place along with frequent community engagements through Safer Streets, door to door, surgeries and public forums . OP Gelt has had a significant impact. Concerted efforts remain in place to further reduce ASB in the area. Additional work is required to combat inconsiderate parking. 2. Drug use - Grovehill General patrol activities has been bolstered by OP Elliptic which has targeted additional resources to tackle County Lines and ASB along with drug use. Two Warrants have been executed and a number of arrests made with appropriate closure orders where needed. Further efforts are being made as additional intel is being gathered, with the intention to keep some momentum in the area. 3. Fly Tipping Woodhall Farm Increased the patrols in the area and worked alongside partner agencies to work together in reducing the number of fly tipping reports to the council and police.
The new Autumn Priorities are 1. Speeding – Across Hemel Hempstead East 2. Vehicle Nuisance ASB - Swallowfields 3. Drug Use – Grovehill
The Priority Survey remains open throughout the year. Any responses submitted between now and 31st December will be included in the Spring priority-setting process, which takes place in January 2026. You can use the button below.
