Update from Police Surgery

On Tuesday 9th September I called into the Vine Cafe at The Methodist Church, Rugeley Rd. I spoke with several residents, 2 issues were raised:- 1) Speeding vehicles through the village and 2) HGV's breaching the weight restrictions. 

Armitage with Handsacre have a Community Speedwatch Group who are at various locations on a regular basis, local PCSO's work very closely with the group in helping to monitor and reduce the speeding through the Village.

Recently a PCSO and a special Constable were at the location targeting HGV's seen breaching the weight restrictions. 

The next Police Drop in Surgery will be in October At The Vine Cafe, Time and date to be arranged, a SMART alert will be sent out nearer to the time.
