Weekly Update

Dear Residents, 

PCSO Gilkes here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team.

What`s been happening: 

We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hotspots for anti-social behaviour, meetings and visits. 

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: 

Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community.

This week we held a PACT meeting at Thomas King House. This is a joint meeting with local residents, councillors and Citizen Housing. This meeting was a very successful one, seeing a lot of residents attending. These meetings are a great way for local residents to voice ongoing issues, and for the correct people to answer and take note. 

This week we have been focusing our patrols on the anti-social behaviour hotspots. We have been conducting patrols around local parks where there have been reports of drug dealing going on. If you see any suspicious activity going on in your neighbourhood do not hesitate to contact us. 

ARRESTS:

This week your local officers made some great arrests this set. Altogether there were 2 arrests made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week. 

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK:

 We have received a few reports around theft of pedal cycles. If you have a pedal cycle make sure you are locking them away even in your own gardens. Keep them out of sight. You can register your bike for free on the bike register website. The National Cycle Database | BikeRegister.

GREAT NEWS:
