
Monthly Update for August 2025 for the Witton & Rudheath Ward Anti-Social Behaviour A report of 3 males sat on the grass verge on Middlewich Road junction with Malpas Road, one of the males was seen waving a chainsaw around. The male was arrested and charged for being in possession of a bladed item in a public place.A report of youths hanging outside a residential property and then throwing items at it.A report of a bench and hedge set alight on Danefield Road Park. Fire attended. The bench has been destroyed. No CCTV or witnesses to assist with an investigation.A report of a vehicle being damaged on Fletcher Grove, the side of the vehicle appears to have been keyed, and an unknown liquid poured on it causing the paintwork to bubble and peel off.Concerns raised about a group of people staying at Oakwood Marina. Officers attended and 3 people were arrested and charged for being involved in the supply of drugs.Unauthorised Encampment, working with the landowner to have the vehicles and caravans removed.Burglary One report received, a pedal cycle has been stolen from inside a residential property overnight, where the front door had been left insecure.Theft Report of a theft of a mobility scooter from a garden of a residential property. No CCTV or witnesses to assist with an investigation.Road Safety Speed Enforcement conducted on Middlewich Road 1 offence was captured and reported.Vehicle stop check on Norbury Street, during checks carried out, it was established that the driver did not have valid insurance. The vehicle was seized and the driver reported.Vehicle stop check on King Street, during checks carried out, it was established that the driver did not have valid insurance. The vehicle was seized and the driver reported.Vehicle stop check on Middlewich Road, during checks carried out, it was established that the driver did not have a valid driver’s licence or insurance and faulty tyres. The driver was reported for the offences and vehicle seized Parking/highway Obstructions Reported vehicle obstructing the pedestrian crossing on Middlewich Road, vehicle had been moved prior to patrols attending.Report of vehicles obstructing the pavement on Lavendar Drive, when there have been events held at Kitwood House and Broken Cross.Weekly Police Surgeries The surgeries will be held at The Venue, Gadbrook Road, Rudheath. Wednesday 17th September, between 1pm – 2pm. Wednesday 24th September, between 5pm – 6pm. Thursday 2nd October, between 5pm – 6pm. Thursday 9th October, between 1pm – 2pm. Everyone is welcome to come along to say hello and discuss any local issues or concerns.
