What's been happening this week in Stockland Green & Erdington ….
10 Targeted patrols have been conducted in the Stockland Green & Erdington High Street area for the anti-social behaviour and violent crime strategies from force level. DNO & PCSO away day training on the new government Neighbourhood Pathway to policing in our communities. The understanding of new ASB policies in how together we can tackle ASB in our communities. Stockland Green Officers on routine patrol in the area nr to Salford Circus, Erdington have stopped a vehicle with a female occupant driver based on intel previously involved with drugs. Vehicle contained 3 x wraps of cannabis, 2 x nitrous oxide cannisters and several remnant dust bags of drugs. Vehicle was seized for No Insurance and female reported to court. Officers working with the community to tackle and help reduce the vehicles that are speeding and driving in a manner causing ASB & Drug involvement in the surrounding roads near to Brookvale Park. This has been ongoing in the area for the last 3 months and now several vehicles have been identified and relevant enquiries made to take the next enforcement action. Officers patrolling Slade Road, Stockland Green have seen a vehicle nr Hampton Road that has proceeded to make off from officers and moments later found abandoned with no driver present, recent intel suggests the vehicle has been involved in drug dealing. Vehicle has been seized then officers have then searched the vehicle and found within drugs, scales, dealer bags and foreign currency. Prolific male offender has been arrested by Stockland Green officers in the late hours of Tuesday 09th September on Slade Road for failing to attend a drug intervention programme, and wanted for a theft from shops and stores …. Male was also found in possession of cannabis upon his arrest. | ||
