🚸 A Polite Reminder to All Parents and Carers 🚸

SOS (safer outside School) patrol this morning carried out at St. Andrews School where several parents were spoken with after vehicles were seen stopping or parking on the zig zag “Keep Clear” markings outside the school gates during drop-off and pick-up times.

These markings are there for a vital reason: to keep children safe. Parking on zig zags blocks visibility for both drivers and pedestrians, and increases the risk of accidents—especially for our youngest pupils who may be crossing the road.

We understand mornings can be hectic, but please help us keep the school entrance safe and clear by finding a legal and safe place to stop. Leave in plenty of time, park away from school and walk the remaining route. A few extra steps  can mean a world of difference for your children’s safety.
