ATM distraction theft at Tesco 21-35 Stratford Road Shirley.

Details: 

Two males have distracted an elderly lady while she was at the cash point withdrawing money. One of the males has taken her card from the machine while ‘waving a piece of paper across it’.

They are described as; Both Asian or eastern European in appearance 5’ 7’ both slim build.

Male 1; Black cap, full beard green hooded jacket, blue tracksuit trousers white stripe down the leg, black trainers.

Male 2. Black cap wearing a surgical mask, black jacket light blue jeans ‘ripped design’ on the front. 

Both males were using the phones during the theft. Appeared to be confident throughout the distraction.

Officers from your local neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting high visibility patrols in the area in a bid to prevent further offences and try to catch offenders.
