Hello Resident,
We hope you are all keeping well. Apologies for the delay of our updates, but better late than never. Since our last update on the 24th of August, we have received 69 Calls, 20 were emergency calls and 15 were priority calls. A lot of these calls related to domestic incidents, missing person and concerns for safety.

It is unclear if suspects are targeting sheds or vehicles but please remain vigilant and call 999 immediately if you see a crime in progress. If you have any CCTV or information on the above reports that would be of help, pop me an email to darren.stretton@leics.police.uk
Patrols, Police Activity and local engagement
On the 1st of September at around 18:00, a stolen vehicle was stopped by Police near Logix Road. Following an area search and the support of the Police dog, 1 suspect was found and arrested. Investigation ongoing if you have any information around this 25000515300
We have been responding to calls, including area searches regarding suspicious activity, working with local schools and council to identify those involved in recent criminal damage and supporting the council with resolving neighbour disputes.
We will be at the SPAR at around 19:30 on the 11th of September for our monthly beat surgery and we have a planned visit as requested to the Burbage Beavers to talk about safety, amongst other subjects.
Crime prevention and issues to be aware of
Please be aware of fake £50 and £20 notes. There have been several reports of this. If you are selling items online such as Facebook marketplace or if you have a small business, please be mindful of this. If you have been a victim of this scam, please ensure you complete an online report and provide any information or CCTV you have, to help identify those involved.
We will be completing patrols around the schools this week due to concerns raised around parking and manner of driving at Burbage Inf/Jnrs and Sketchley Primary.
Several reports of egg throwing, including on Woodland Avenue, we are working with local schools to identify those involved in these recent incidents.
Thank you and take care.
