Local Crime: Here are the crime updates for the Lozells and East Handsworth area from 15/07/2025 and 15/08/2025.
Hamstead Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 9:42am and 10:42am on 15/07/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Mini Cooper. Offenders smashed the passenger side windows, entered vehicle and stole a mini iPad. Hamstead Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 7pm on 15/07/2025 and 8:35am on 16/07/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Nissan. Offenders gained entry to vehicle and stole it by unknown means. Carlyle Road – Attempted burglary – Between 1:08am and 4:56am on 17/07/2025, unknown persons have approached the ground floor flat via the front. Offenders have tried to pry open front windows with a crowbar. Offenders have been disturbed by occupants. Albert Road – Interference with a motor vehicle – Between 9:30pm on 16/07/2025 and 11:50am on 17/07/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Mercedes. Offenders gained entry to vehicle by unknown means and searched inside. No items were stolen. Anglesey Street – Burglary – Between 10pm on 15/07/2025 and 10am on 16/07/2025, unknown persons approached property via the front. Offenders forced open ground floor windows, gaining entry. Once inside offenders stole the following items, car keys, wallet, loose change and watch. Heathfield Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 3am and 4am on 20/07/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Toyota Rav4. Offender gained entry to vehicle and stole it by unknown means. Churchill Road – Burglary – Between 7pm on 19/07/2025 and 7.30pm on 20/07/2025, offenders have approached the property via the front. Offenders have gained entry to property by forcing front door open. Once inside offenders stolen numerous documents. Broughton Road – Theft of motor vehicle – Between 8pm and 11:40pm on 22/07/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Mitsubishi Outlander. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle with an implement believed to be a relay device. Hill Grove – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 1am and 7am on 23/07/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Nissan Juke. Offender removed and stole front number plate. Alfred Road – Interference with a motor vehicle – Between 12:01am and 1pm on 25/07/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Nissan Navara. Offenders gained entry to vehicle by unknown means and removed steering lock causing damage. Nothing stolen from vehicle. Livingstone Road – Theft of a motor bike – Between 6am and 8am on 25/07/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Kawasaki motorbike. Offenders cut off lock, broke steering lock and made off with motorcycle. Heathfield Road – Burglary of a shed – Between 5:20am and 9:23pm on 25/07/2025, unknown persons have entered the rear garden of address climbing over the fence. Offenders entered insecure shed and stole numerous items. Pavilion Close – Burglary of a shed – Between 12am on 25/07/2025 and 23:59pm on 26/07/2025, unknown persons have accessed the rear garden of property and have broken lock to shed. Offenders stole numerous garden equipment and tools. Soho Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 10pm on 29/07/2025 and 8:30am on 30/07/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Toyota Hilux. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means. Hamstead Road – Burglary – Between 11:30am on 30/07/2025 and 5:53am on 31/07/2025, unknown persons climbed through open downstairs window, entering property. Once inside offenders stolen cash, house keys and bank cards. Thornhill Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 7:30pm and 8:35pm on 31/07/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Vauxhall Astra. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means. Crompton Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 10:30pm on 03/08/2025 and 6am on 03/08/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Toyota C-HR. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means. Westminster Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 3:50am and 4:26am 06/08/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Honda WW125 Moped. Offenders have cut off lock, broke steering lock and made off with motorcycle. Turville Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 4:39am and 4:42am on 08/08/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Lexus. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means. Beaudesert Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 3:30am and 3:40am on 07/082/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Lexus. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means. Westminster Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 11pm on 09/08/2025 and 6:30am on 10/08/2025, unknown persons approached an insecure, parked and unattended Vauxhall Insignia. Once inside vehicle offenders stole numerous items. Wellington Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 7pm on 11/08/2025 and 3:29am on 12/08/2025, unknown persons approached a secure, parked and unattended Honda Civic. Offenders gained entry to vehicle by smashing rear passengers window. Offenders stole a Rolex Watch, iPhone 15 PRO, cash and clothing.
