Community Update |
||
Dear Residents,
We would like to take a moment to share a quick update about our team.
Over the past month of August, we have been supporting a wide range of city-wide events such as concerts, carnivals, protests, and major crime investigations, all of which have required long hours and extensive follow-up work. In addition, our 999 response colleagues managed a major incident last night, which may affect some of our day-to-day availability in the coming days.
Looking ahead to September and October, we will continue to be stretched as we support the Jewish High Holidays, alongside team members taking scheduled annual leave. Despite these challenges, our ward and your safety remain our top priority and we are committed to doing our very best to meet your needs.
We truly appreciate your patience and cooperation as we balance these many responsibilities. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. As a reminder, our Safer Neighbourhood Team is not available 24/7, so please call **101** for non-emergency matters and **999** for emergencies.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
